Is there a Service Train to pick up stranded pax.?

  I heard it from my friend that there is one service which will pick up stranded passengers if they miss their train. I believe it was diesel-powered as electricity is turned off for track maintenance once the last train is stabled.

  realli then how? so if last train msg appears means not realli last train la. then until when this diesel powered train keep coming?

  Last time i took eastbound train home) and westbound service has ended for about 15 mins already but on my way home to eunos mrt all the way i dint see any more trains but i did see 1 guy sitting on the "chair" in the station facing westbound platform

  technically yes, the maintainence train follows the last train to detect abnormalities in track.
