  thanks for the updates. there was a speculation that both will open together after air-conditioning systems are ready, but now we know for sure that SB will open by 2Q 2008 and NB by 4Q 2009.

  Bishan total costs for this refurbishment plus CCL itself is $82mil, other stations average out at $60mil.

  i dun think so. btw it has 8 escalators/stairs plus 2 lifts between ticketing concourse and platform.

  no, turn into 2 platforms for one direction each. new platform serves SB. current platform will be hoarded up and only serve NB.
