My pic that awful looking mehOriginally posted by :SG's MRT stations beri nice meh? Take pictures for wad?
In this age of terrorism, no wonder you have been inconvenienced......
wah.. like that must also be fair for all la - ban all photography in public places lor! esp Orchard Rd, Esplanade, NDP parade, Chingay, Chinatown during festive seasons and so on. Tell the tourists photography is banned or else be handed to the police! there got even much much more people leh! Why only restrict to bus interchanges and MRT stations? don't tell me if phototaking of public transport is a threat to security, then its not a threat to photo on public streets with many people? Wheres the logic and sense?Originally posted by SBS9889U:Depot may not be that sensitive. MRT Station has much much much higher human flow which is what terrorists is attracted to.
Done it before.Originally posted by ditzy:Try snapping a pic of the guy trying to stop you now that will really piss his pants off.
For this picture, a 6mp camera. 6mp is usually enough for everything except for shots meant to be used in the advertising area. (Posters you see hanging down the side of buildings, not newspaper shots!)Originally posted by Darkness_hacker99:How many MB your cam have?

" I refer to the letter, "Can't one take photos in MRT stations?" by Mr Soh Onn Teck (ST, Aug 30).
As part of our security measures, we do not allow people to take pictures within our MRT stations or of our MRT stations without prior permission. People who wish to take pictures or videos of our MRT stations or who are taking pictures or videos from the MRT station are required to inform our station staff.
Due to security reasons, our station staff had to take down Mr Soh's particulars as we keep records of people who take pictures from the MRT station.
We seek Mr Soh's understanding on this matter, and would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

With reference to the paragraphy in bold, is it true SMRT will give permission to photograph when requested???? Even when I seek permission to photograph, I was turned down flat by the station staff! CONTRADICTING STATEMENT!!!
