  In case of flooding
  
  Will the stations able to handle large amounts of flooding water?
  
  Yesterday went to Harbourfront and suddenly think what if there's a small tsunami hits singapore and all that water went to the underground stations
  
  Will the people in trains or the stations get drown when they are underground?

  Maggot ! you know how tall the tsunami will have to be to be able to reach any of the underground stations ? If there is a tsunami that tall hit singapore, a lot of people on the ground will die first ..... the underground will only make a small percentage !!!

  Hmm, I guess its quite devestating for the water to enter the stations, but at the rate it would be low.
  Do be reminded that there are lots of barriers the water needs to breakthrough first, we still have Sentosa and outer islands to block off direct impact.

  Those lifeguards maybe are SMRT officers. Novena MRT got flooded once when a pipe from the Velocity Construction Site (In 2005) burst and flooded the station causing trains to turn around at Toa Payoh till the water is drained.
