certainly, these jumpers planned their death pretty well.
Even a small impact can lead to long term injuries and eventually, death also...
Why not press the horn when entering the station? For sipritual and attentive purpose, so accidental will be ruled out? -

If someone circums to those thoughts and decides to suicide, it is as good as sending the person's soul to the demons... that is why many religions believe that if a person suicides, they'll eventually go to Hell in their afterlife...
Suicidals may look forward to nothing in their afterlife... their minds are all blank and not thinking straight when they commit suicide...
