Standing in the MRT

So damn sickening!!! These daes dunno whether izzit too many pple in SG or pple simply dunno how to stand.
Always see pple blocking the entrance of the mrt train then the middle part becomes empty, then if u try to move and say excuse me they like treat transparent or dun hear u .
So sickening.... best some of them dun even want to move when u say excuse me. Sibeh knn one leh...
Can someone here tell me why????

singaporeans lidat one la....cuz normally people too kiasu, must stand near door in case not enough time to squeeze out.
can u imagine, im standing in the middle of the carriage, empty except the seats, and the rest are all crowded near the doors?

because we know ourselves singaporean damn kiasu and inconsiderate so we all stand near the exits for fear we are unable to get down in time.

Well... last time when I stand in the middle, the rest would not bulge when I try to exit... until I shouted, "don't block the way, you morons!" then they start to shift...

Do a simple experiment.
Everytime you board the MRT, count the number of times you sit or stand.
At the end of the week, tally up.
Chances are, you will be standing at least 80% of the time. -
Well, we DO have to derive the causes of standing at the doors right?
Some people just REFUSE to budge even when you say "Excuse me." Or when you have no choice but to push your way out, these people then come and give you the "buay song" face.
Now we all know why people like to stand at the doors.
Another issue I'd like to discuss is people who are stuck to seats. You probably know what that is anyway, it's when people are so KIASU they rush in for seats when people are exiting.
I'll give you a VERY fine example.
Each morning I take the 5.47am train from Khatib, with TRN 078. I always stand at the 3rd carriage from the front (i.e. 2XXX, but is at the frontal half), just before the connector for the second carriage. Watch the people when the train arrives at AMK, and you'll know what I mean. -

pple's leg tired of cos they cannot stand properly loh. even if they sit on the floor, it's sbst/smrt fault!

Try the Japanese method, for carriage width 2800mm then can squeeze the capacity of our trains, width 3200mm...
Thats about 1400 people...
You cannot move at all, cannot shift here and there, almost cannot breath. Applies to Yamanote and Chuo line at peaks, and including of course the private railroads... -
even better, when the train is so dam crowded, always got some stupid unker must lean against the pole, so that no one else can hold..

i personally feel that those standing up are lazy
instead of standing up and grabbing the handle
most prefer lying on the glass pannel or the corner of the train -
