Trains affected in Japan Earthquake

Although no passengers were killed in the recent typhoon and earthquake that hit Japan, several trains were damaged by the earthquake this morning.
Two car train derails at Kashiwazaki Station. There were two passengers and one crew on board, escaped safely.
Another cargo train with 16 carriages travelling from Osaka to Sapporo on the JR Shin'etsu Main Line derailed, no one was injured.
The earthquake has caused 7 deaths and over 900 people injured. Two nuclear plants have declared damages and radiation leakage. -

JR Shin'etsu Line Lanslide
Serious landslide on the Shin'etsu Line, causing as much as 80 trains cancelled. This should include cargo and normal/express trains. Passed by there during my 2005 trip on the night express Nihonkai. Sad incident now that train services are temporary terminated.
