Circle Line Trains

I had a look at the information boards on the Circle Line at Buona Vista station, and according to them, the trains that will be used are 70m long, have just 3 cars and can hold 670 people (like sardines in a tin I suppose).
How does this compare with the trains on the existing lines? Do you think whoever planned this was underestimating the traffic that will be using the line? -
I think it will be like in Japan situation sometimes. They couple two trains at a station. The 'married trains' would go on service together. I think it will happen here. Maybe no, it will not.

it will not as the station length only allows 3 cars at a time. i suppose this is due to space constrains. what i do hope is that the frequency can be upped to 4 minutes during off peak and 1 minute during peak to offset the number of passengers being carried each hour.

Off peak i dont think much people will utilise it but peak certainly alot! Hopefully they cut or amend as little bus routes as possible as i tink not all will take CCL due to space constrains.

The Circle Line is being developed as a medium-rail system, hence the 3-car trains.

The Alstoms were here but where are they kept? The line's not finished yet.

i believe ppl there only travel a few stations thats why it's like only 3 cabin.

because maybe the stations are too close together they
make it a bet will have less people use or so on -
It is designed this way, not because of not enough space...etc.
Circle line acts as an orbital line, it is not a main line.
It links all the main line together.
Station length is almost the same as the existing 6-car station, but only design as 3-car. the rest of the area is for machines/electrical stuffs.
All new trains will be transported to kim chuan which tracks have already been installed. -
I think that they load it up 1 car on a heavy equipment trailer and have a powerful Nissan Freightliner to haul it

Surprisingly the trains for CCL are powered by 3rd rail instead of overhead rails as opposed to NEL trains even though CCL is fully underground and the rolling stock supplier is Alstom. Also that time LTA said overhead power lines are cheaper compared to 3rd rails.

- If only one train comes it's fine
- but if 2 trains come the doors would not match to the platform doors because the distance between the coupled together trains would be bigger than the distance between two normal doors -
