Reasons :
Still left many flats unsold/unoccupied in Jurong West Extension/Jln Bahar Areas
Part of Jurong West St 2X are still undeveloped
Don't want to be any example of Sengkang/Punggol
built but not open due to low/no demand
Area not mature enough
Most areas are covered by Bus Services
Unable to work out the demand for BLE as the Extension is still under construction. -

Earlier LTA builds JI section, shorter time people need to travel to JI from Boon Lay.
And I wonder if BLE would extend to Tuas Checkpoint some day.

there is no need to build LRT in jurong west extension at all!

i think building an LRT to inter-connect Jurong East and West (at mature & new estates) is a good idea.
similarly for a need for LRT to inter-connect Serangoon Nth, Hougang, AMK - even better still! the future Bishan MRT stn interchange to connect to CCL is not convenient enough for residents from these areas i mentioned. -

maybe we can have bus rapid transit (BRT) like the indonesians do? special bus lane where its impossible for cars to enter. and of course, ppl tap their cards at faregates in "stations".
