  me too ... i was lucky not to kena stuck ... cos i was at queenstown n i alighted at city hall ... dunno wat happened .. hopefully not another case of jumoing down the tracks ....

  I was at Tampines MRT at around 10.15am waiting for the shuttle bus to Giant & heard the announcement...see whether got feature on news tonight or not regarding what happen

  I HAVE 3 IDEAS TO STOP MRT ACCIDENTS:
  
  one way:
  then train can travel faster at the tracks, but must slow down so slow that it can stop veri fast when entering the station, so when ppl jump down, can stop in time
  
  another way:
  a sensor can be put on the tracks, once it sence there ish sometime there, the power can automatically cut off, so in case ppl lie there, will not get hit by the train.
  
  another way:
  mirrors can be put at opposite side of the tracks where it will reflect the underside of the platform which ppl stand, so ppl can see is there anyone hiding there, and if there ish, can stop the train
  
  hope mrt ppl see these ideas and improvise them.
