The area around the art museum is still under constructions but the area has cahnged abit but im not sure if queen street was reopened. So far there isnt any new stations except the LRT to Sentosa has started operation and pics can be found in the "Sentosa Express" thread here.Originally posted by Peter Lanky:I will be visiting Singapore in December, and want to know how far work has progressed on the MRT. We will be staying near Bras Basah Rd. Last time we were there, the area around the art museum was under construction, with Queen Street closed. Has this now changed? Are there any new stations? Is the MRT to Sentosa operational yet? If not are any of these likely to be operational by December?

Museum station is ready, the surface roads have been restored and reopened but will not open until 2010.Originally posted by Peter Lanky:I will be visiting Singapore in December, and want to know how far work has progressed on the MRT. Good news about the Sentosa train, and pleased to hear the surface work has been completed around Queen Street. Why is it all taking so long though?Originally posted by ^tamago^:Museum station is ready, the surface roads have been restored and reopened but will not open until 2010.
The Sentosa Express (People Mover System) to Sentosa has been operational since 15th January.
Its now called Bras Basah stn actually, Museum stn was the contract name... the works along the first phase of the circle line (dhoby ghaut to stadium boulevard) is more or less complete with visible station entrances. the works are taking very long due to the nicoll highway collapse in 2004, leaving the whole stretch of phase 1 as 'white elephants' as the station works are complete but no train system tests can be done.Originally posted by Peter Lanky:Good news about the Sentosa train, and pleased to hear the surface work has been completed around Queen Street.
