  Hey, i heard from my friend that some NEL stations play those low frequency noises so that it will irritate the heck out of kids/teens so that they dont loiter around??
  
  at Potong Pasir MRT station (the gates) can hear it, dang loud!
  
  is it true?

  ya is damn HIGH FREQUENCY.. THE higher the freqency, the harder it is to hear.
