I am currently a jc1 student, then my student concession expired liao, even the General Ticketing Machine can't extend my concession.Then i lanlan call up their customer service hotline and request that they extend my concession.They say ok and i even asked my jc to update my information and fax to them.Last thursday, they called me to tell me that my card concession has been extended today and i can do it at any GTM.Now when i tried to extend my concession just now, it can't.Bo pian, i call up their customer service hotline and they tell me that some grandmother grandfather story that they lost track of my case and have to refer back to their department, then they tell me that the particular department is not working today and i'll have to wait a few more days for them to get back to me nd t.I was like WTF?!
and nearly shouted at the CSO , now i have to keep on paying adult fare and as a student, it is really a heavy burden to me as my pocket money is not really alot
I am really pissed off with SMRT .So much for their service and efficiency .F*** them -

I think youÂ’re getting pissed off with the wrong party. SMRT is only a transport operator, and they don't handle ticketing. The best way to fix your student concession card is go those card replacement office & tell them what happen.
My student concession card also got such problem before & I lanlan has to go the Transitlink Office at Buona Vista to replace my card...

Maybe you can take bus instead of MRT, bus is 55 cent you can try your luck, most of the chances is EVEN IF the BC wan to see ur card, then let him see loh, unless some really extra BC want you to tap your card.
If you very free, you can ask both the SMRT Staff at the control office at any station and the transitlink office people come out discuss discuss and make them let you pay concession fare -

got one weekend his EZ link no $$$ so bo pian pay cash 55cents...
but then the mother-loving son of a father BC don believe he student, KB so much and made him pay adult fare.... -

called them today and still say inquiring on my case more than a week already wtf?! , say will call me back next few days, really getting frustrated as i take alot of mrt and buses(i tried paying student concession fare for buses using cash, no problem so far with any BC), but the mrt fares are taking a toll on me
as i'm not really rich .Anyone suggest how i should f-them up down left right centre so as to get things moving on their side -

I got it all settled in 2 hours with a replacement card done.

u mean their office at buona vista?if like what you say can really settle within two hours, i will gladly make the trip down.I don't want to make a wasted trip down
