Am just wondering, if lets say you travel on a train and you left or misplaced the card in the train, what happens next?
Go control station and they will allow you to exit? Or must sign forms first?
Or will they let you out with a fee?

$2 wise, i guess only applies to those people who either stay too long in the mrt station or travel to a few stations passing things to friends without tapping card and went back exceeding the limits. -

Should be reporting to the person in the Control Room that you lost the card...

I have encounter this before. When I upon exit the station then I realised that I have lost my MRT farecard(magnetic type).I go to the passenger service centre to report lost of the MRT farecard then the next thing the MRT personnel took out his pass and let me out since he know I'm just a student then. Therefore he did not ask me to pay for the trip or IOU.

if u have a second card, he will ask which station u came from and encode on that card.
if u lost ur card and have no cards to get out, be prepared to pay $2 admin fee though it's up to the station control... -

Last time I lost my ez link card. They just let me pass through the gate. SO nice.

There are 2 options for you to do. One of them I can't say out the other very simple. Follow the person who are exiting the fare gates. Follow really close up but keep a minimum of 2 cm just in case your 'bro' touches his/her butt . The moment he/she taps her card on the reader and gates opens up, follow the person as he/she walks out. See many times at many many mrt stations. Passengers cheating. See till dun want to see.

Just hang out at any crowded stations you will find out. Just see ok already. No need to do anything. Last time many donkey years ago if a woman pushing prams. How they exit the gates? I hint liao. No more from me.

if the guy already inside the train, stop the train and pull the guy out & call him to pay fares (what a bus captain do to a passenger) -
