Technical Fault cause delay in NEL this morning.

around 7am. i think the whole NEL delayed form 12-15 mins due to "technical fault". basically on both platforms. they even put signs at the ticket gate. anyone knew what happened? especially after that recent incident they still have this kind of nonsense...

Such unforseen circumstances are unavoidable but I'm sure some of us also have encountered this problem on SMRT Trains so not to mention the NEL but just imagine the trains running for several hours a day so wear & tear to some components might be expected though

Trains run the whole day, yes, but maintenance should be there.
I guess this is another case of 'unforeseen circumstances'. Auto or manual, it does not really make much of a difference I guess. -

So is NEL going to get fined?
heard last time that if a operator kenna too many of such technical fault,they may get fined for it?
But in the end,will just end up passing the cost to the public nia...... -

looks like a crossing switch fault to me.
