u have to memorise.
for SMRT, all stations are 2 minutes in between except:
CGA-XPO: 5 mins
XPO-TNM: 3 mins
PSR-TAM: 3 mins
SIM-TNM: 3 mins
BDK-TNM: 3 mins
CLE-JUR: 4 mins
JUR-BBT: 3 mins
BGB-CCK: 4 mins
YWT-KRJ: 5 mins
WDL-ADM: 3 mins
ADM-SBW: 3 mins
SBW-YIS: 4 mins
KTB-YCK: 5 mins
AMK-BIS: 3 mins
DBG-SOM: 1 min
so if 10 stations u count 20 mins, then u adjust if there's any difference as stated above. dun need to memorise by heart, u take train u also will agar agar understand the timing.
somemore the trains have to by accurate to the minute so it works very well.

NEL is more complicated to count. they don't follow minutes, they follow seconds due to computerised scheduling.
