Changi Airport People Movers System replacement started

Last week, Transit Passengers's Skytrain has been replaced by the People's Mover System (PMS).
Normal passengers's will be replaced next Friday (ST gave reports being next yr)
The PMS, that will link T1, T2 and T3 together, will have 3 branch (For normal passengers) and 5 branch (Transit passengers)
*The branch seen at T2 (Nearer to BT) is actually for Transit passengers
Trains is made by Mitsubishi, model the same as Sengkang/ Punggol LRT only that it only has 8 seats!
Operation Hrs: 0600 - 0130
It will run 24 hrs once the other 6 branches linking T2 to T3 and T3 internal shuttle starts operating -
The distance is 6.4km, there will be 16 trains on the new skytrain.

Went there this late afternoon
@ T2, the furthest door from the station entrance has been removed and become the entrance of the extension concourse area
@ T1, both doors shut, cos the Skytrain proceeds straight from T2 instead of turning, hence extension concourse area bigger than T2
Anyway, the train interior is indeed sama sama as SBS's LRT train only that the seats have been removed to free up more spaces for the trolleys
The LRT trains for both Transit and General Public is joined together -

If you board from T2, your carriage is at the rear
But if you board from T1, your carriage is at the front -

it is too obvious that one carriage for the public side is not enough to accommodate all the users.

officers are on site... sometimes to ensure smooth op. especially at T1, the platform gap is very big! -

I wonder why T1's skytrain station's platform screen doors are not visible (blocked by some white temporary looking wall) while T2's all glass. -
Sure you may! Don't mind put www.ktmrailwayfan.com together with the credits also. Thank you. T1 is just a temporary platform. In future, it will be double tracked. If you notice, there are 2 turnouts from T2: 1 to T3 and 1 to the other side. That's also I think why they kept the old emergency walkway.
