Track shelter at Marsiling Station

  What is it for?
  
  Initially I suspect cos the station too near the HDB and the shelter is for privacy reasons?

  u mean the green curvature that is built on the overhead bridge which looks like half-constructed? I oso dun know wad it is used for.

  oh no no .. it is the metal thing blocking the residents in the HDB from seeing the train platform.

  That shelter is meant to shield the residents of the HDB blocks from the prying eyes of train passengers.

  i thought the media once said, is because it looked directly into canal. so if u look down, the distance seems very long, ie. too high up, then some ppl see so high, may be scared etc..
