Why are Singaporeans dying to get on the MRT train?

City Hall. Most of the times, i go to the front or rear carriages to try to get seat and if real unlucky then lean on the wall between carriages. -

mine was a long 1 too..
tat time I was from sembawang went all the way to jurong east meet friend ,
den time still early , we chat with the zabor from jurong east to changi airport there den to bugis ^^X

still, from Ang Mo Kio, you usually alight within 20 minutes -
erm.. tell us.. anybody here who usually stand when theres seats available? Or only seat at alternate seats? or seat at the 2 end seats facing peope backsides? or worse, stand at the door and be a wannabe security guard?

let's say you're in a westbound train.. you take frm tampines and get a seat.. you're heading to outram park. at kallang, a pregnant lady boards the train. you give up ur seat and stand in front of her. and den she alights at bugis. do you sit down at ur place again??
