Slowness of MRT along Serangoon and Kovan

Had anyone notice the slowness when the MRT is between the NEL of Kovan and Serangoon?

din notice tat. maybe going up a gradient, or purposely slow down to free some headway, or the 2 stations too near each other & must slow down once accelerated?

It is due to the CCL works at the proposed Serangoon interchange. In fact, some folks say Serangoon NEL station is sinking as a result. If so, LTA should pay close attention to the situation. They can't afford another Nicoll Highway-style incident.

Fact is that Serangoon Station is already sink by 1cm.. in order not to have a derailment inside the tunnel, what they do was to slow down the train for the Nouth Bound Train towards Punggol Station between Serangoon and Kovan MRT Station..

notice it slows down from serangoon til around one third of the distance of serangoon to kovan... then it will go back to normal speed.
and i notice... only one train is allow to pass by that section at one time from either direction...
is there something we dunno? -

Like I said before, LTA has to keep their eyes open for any soil movement at Serangoon. it takes 3 mins..from kovan to serangoon..but i take bus also 3 mins..

and.. 3mins from KVN to SGN is Nothing.. Ive done HGN to SGN in Less than 7Mins.. -

I kinda suspect might be due to the contruction of circle line and the above flyover along upper serangoon road. coz the train start to speed up after the floyover.
Maybe i do think too much. -
