It is still better than placing at the train station screen which is meant for passenger informationOriginally posted by dragg:who cares?
The in trainTV should have been used to provide live applied information to its passengers, not bloody eyesore craps!!!Originally posted by sbst275:

Well, bef talking abt this ads issue, that TV has been off... It's like a white elephant..Originally posted by SGEMP:The in trainTV should have been used to provide live applied information to its passengers, not bloody eyesore craps!!!
Such eyesore, I have seen enough already!
In earlier days, I remembered of the Red Cross Give Blood Save Lives advertisement, in which two boxers box out until one fell and blood vomited out of the fallen's mouth.
So disgusting the advertisement!!!
So SMRT should have located more gracious advertisements and not bloody disgusting advertisement like the abovementioned!
Ya that is always the case for SMRT. SBST is still hopeful though. Because last sat night when I head north to HG along the way the SBSTNEL on train TV broadcasted practical informations such as safety on NEL.Originally posted by sbst275:Well, bef talking abt this ads issue, that TV has been off... That Red Cross, SMRT big supporter
No advertiser wants to advertise tats why don't have lah. Do you know how much it cost for a whole train to be put up wif those boards? At least a 5 figure sums. Some trains u notice don't have any ads are coz the contractor removed the old ones and waiting for the new ads to be put up hence the empty ads on trains.Originally posted by sbst275:Have your noticed SMRT dun have in-train ads anymore?
NEL practically all trains on service are full of ads lehOriginally posted by Manager433:No advertiser wants to advertise tats why don't have lah. Practically all NEL trains have ads, even the TV has TVC as wellOriginally posted by Troy437:I tot I still see Ribena ads on the large train windows, where the packets of Ribena are slinged to the modesl in the ads...in NEL.
they usually use the back of the bus (no openable windows) has anyone seen a side ad on a NAC bus?Originally posted by sbst275:Practically all NEL trains have ads, even the TV has TVC as well
Moove Media has been maximising ad space, last time SBS Ads rarely used NAC buses for ads... Now Moove Media uses NAC buses
Well, NEL's exterior doesnt have that much ads as compared to the interior. However, as ads like ribena ad are on the interior windows, the exterior will also seem to be covered with ads.Originally posted by charlize:Buses and trains look more like floats and advertising billboards than public transport nowadays.
As like said SMRT had seemed to replace in-train ads, mostly about new movies like "Narnia...." (Walt Disney), and "the Promise" (Encore! Films).Originally posted by SGEMP:The in trainTV should have been used to provide live applied information to its passengers, not bloody eyesore craps!!!
