  the old name of Sengkang is called Kangkar, and KangKar is the place/river mouth near the defunct upp serangoon rd end terminal/ sungei serangoon.

  Ya. But then I like the word "Bendemeer" as there is a Bendemeer Mall , BEndemeerpri/sec near them withim walkind distance and of course the Bendemeer Road!!!
