Which station is not named correctly?

Those NSL, EWL, NEL and CCL... the stations with the confirm names. Which one u think is not suitable? And which one should change? And why?

For me I think is Farrer Park. It should be name Race Course Station. Because there will be a Farrer Station in Circle Line and further confuse the names...

But Farrer Park is smacked right in the centre of Farrer Park.
If its called Race Course Station, I'll mistake it for Eng Neo/Kranji, or even Bukit Timah. -
anyone realise the chinese name for Yew Tee got changed?

then change to You2 Di4 -

Also, Braddell Station is nowhere near Braddell Rd. And Clarke Quay is north of the river but its corresponding station is on the opposite shore. -
Farrer Park people will definitely confuse with Farrer Road station esp tourist who are not familiar. but then again, that place is indeed Farrer Park. I feel that maybe the 2 places are distinct enough to have similiar "Farrer" names. They could name the CCL one Farrer Gardens or something.

And although the street directory spells CCK Rd as "Choa", the name of the constituency in the electoral register is spelt "Chua". -

Hmm, that makes me wonder if there would there be a station at Eng Neo on the BTL.
Anyway, Farrer Park station is near Kitchener/Rangoon Rds, so it could just be named after those two roads.
Also, the CCL station could be named Woolerton, after Woolerton Park nearby. -

the areas, yio chu kang, choa chu kang, lim chu kang is actually name after the villages that used to be there. for yio chu kang one is there use to be a village head whose surname is Yang.... so should be yeo... but dunno why it becomes yio...Originally posted by iveco:How about YCK? Each village was built and named after the chinese clans which built houses and controls that part of the river. "Chu" means house in hokkien, and "kang" means river. and yes. Choa should be Chua. Yio should be Yeo.. but then, its spelled Choa may be due to dialect to english translation spelling.

i dun think such place ever exists, but they are called that respectively as they may seemed to be in another part of the town or away from the town centre. Yew Tee is aka Choa Chu kang North, seperated by the KJE
Khatib is aka Yishun South.
i daresay Sengkang can be Punggol South since they r so close and also seperated by TPE.. also, there wasnt such a place call "Sengkang" last time.. -
