Got once the train was driven into the service station, the one just between AMK & Bishan Station.
The place was pitch dark and everybody was looking around lol

got newspaper reports a few years back that there was some ppl who urine and smoke inside the end carriage of SMRT trains.
and is school-going students seating by the doors considered unusual? cos there is the famous tag of "MRT Beggars" or Door-Guard (aka Door god or men2 shen2 in chinese). strange cos students regards themselves as high class and being ""beggars"" seems odd..
also got a time when the driver didnt close his door when the train leaves marina bay station.. shiok.! i got a front view of the train moving very fast in front!!

Once I was on the train to Boon Lay. Didn't realise because I was reading, but next thing I knew, the train overshot Jurong East station (by about 1 1/2 cars) .. and every looked around puzzled.. About half a minute like that, the driver announced there was a "technical failure" and say that we will be skipping that stop.
So the passengers who is alighting / transfering at JE has to drop at Chinese Garden and switch.. I think under their breath, some must be cursing.
I'm wondering if it's really a technical failure or if the driver really missed. -

Even if he miss stop, he can engage reverse and slowly reverse. But to do so, he would severely affect train schedules, which are extremely accurate. Got 1 time saw this guy boarded at Eunos and he stood near the door. The problem is that he assume he was already inside the train which is a fact for his feet but not his head. So when the MRT going to close doors, people beside siam liao dont want to witness tragedy. And when the MRT close door, the door got his head and he quickly retracted his head back into the train. Now imagine playing the scene in ur head and u will know y I lafing like siao now!

got one time when i went to Raffles city by mrt...then when i alighted the train at CCK i could smell Coke and there was a stupid woman frowning at her 2 son..i presumed they spilled it on the floor...wha liao eh..the whole area smell of coke already

unusual happenings? a lot everyday!
we have guards who guard the train doors. even have shift! when one guard alights, another will promptly take over his space! whoa! i feel so grand whenever i exit or alight from the train!
another, is the territory issue. many people like to sit down and picnic near the train doors.. didnt know they are helping out to clean the train's floor and as another form of body guard..
and did i mention students refusing to seat down and clogging up the train when there are seats available? they were so nice, they dont want to seat, and "offered" the seat to me for a long journey.
