In fact, there are 3 of them. The station you are referring to is West Coast, the other 2 are Thomson and Bukit Brown.Originally posted by SBS3641G:There is also a reservation for a future station between NUH and Pasir Panjang.
I think west coast station stops at Haw Par VillaOriginally posted by tranquilice:In fact, there are 3 of them. The station you are referring to is West Coast, the other 2 are Thomson and Bukit Brown.

how long did it take for them to build Dover station?
Sungei Kadut station was originally in the plan of Woodlands extension but was shelved. NS12 station was not in the plan.Originally posted by CAIX:That means the 2 unknown station is being left out purposely since the opening fo woodlands extention. One is Sungei kadut, one is canberra. Now then I know why there are missing numbers. In the past, thy didn't mentioned of the missing numbers.
Well, if there is to be a station in Jurong Industrial estate, what about Sungei Kadut?Originally posted by tranquilice:Sungei Kadut station was originally in the plan of Woodlands extension but was shelved. NS12 station was not in the plan.
The station may or may not be built later at a time when there's enough demand.Originally posted by SBS3641G:Well, if there is to be a station in Jurong Industrial estate, what about Sungei Kadut?
That was what i thought last time when i didnt know about the reserve names for future stations. last time it skip from N12 Yishun to N14 Sembawang, and i thought maybe 13 is unlucky no. that why they skip. but i couldnt think of why they left N19 out.Originally posted by SBS9828X:i tot they were superstitious in leaving out numbers Btw isnt it no. 4?
What no. 4?Originally posted by SBS9828X:i tot they were superstitious in leaving out numbers Btw isnt it no. 4?
Jurong East and Clementi also.Originally posted by SBS3641G:THe gap between CLE and BNV stations was also quite wide in the early days. However, the jump was only one number, and not two. Used to wonder how the Sg Poly station would be numbered.
Ya, it should be an unlucky number as they belived in this in the past...Originally posted by disappear:That was what i thought last time when i didnt know about the reserve names for future stations. last time it skip from N12 Yishun to N14 Sembawang, and i thought maybe 13 is unlucky no. that why they skip. but i couldnt think of why they left N19 out.
i also thought that it is because of the long distance btw the stations, but then i couldnt think of reason why Yio Chu Kang and Khatib are so far but no skip numbers.(anyways this is wrong reasoning in the 1st place because since they purposely reserve name for future station to be in between, of course it follows that the distance between the present 2 stations(Kranji and Yew Tee, Yishun and Sembawang) is likely to be further apart.)
