working names shld be:

NS6 SUNGEI KADUT
NS12 CANBERRA -
There is also a reservation for a future station between NUH and Pasir Panjang.

I think west coast, thomson and bt brown station is already in the circle line plan... but the NS2, NE6 and NE12 was not stated in the plan at all. have u all noticed?

That means the 2 unknown station is being left out purposely since the opening fo woodlands extention. One is Sungei kadut, one is canberra. Now then I know why there are missing numbers. In the past, thy didn't mentioned of the missing numbers.

Yes, Sungei Kadut is an industrial estate, so why build a station there ? As for canberra, it would be a new town, so a station there in the future will be better.

i also thought that it is because of the long distance btw the stations, but then i couldnt think of reason why Yio Chu Kang and Khatib are so far but no skip numbers.(anyways this is wrong reasoning in the 1st place because since they purposely reserve name for future station to be in between, of course it follows that the distance between the present 2 stations(Kranji and Yew Tee, Yishun and Sembawang) is likely to be further apart.) -

THe gap between CLE and BNV stations was also quite wide in the early days. However, the jump was only one number, and not two. Used to wonder how the Sg Poly station would be numbered.
