Before the Punggol West LRT was completed, there was a station planned to be named SENTUL LRT STATION...i remebered lookng at the map somewhere... which station izzit now?
I wouldn't agree on dat name anyway, its just an old malay name....reminds me of a malay comedian. [/b] -
I am appalled at what i saw in the BPLRT...
the doors can be opened while the train was in motion (when forced)
I saw a group of mischievious teenagers try to pry open the door with their hands...and the door was able to open...and the train did not stop moving. -

This is what my friend told me: there was once a bukit panjang lrt train broke down and he and other passengers were asked to walk along the track to go to the next station, without any service staff guiding them. and i think unlike Sengkang LRT, the BP one has no safety railing at the side so it seems to be v dangerous to walk along it like that with nobody to assure and guide them. so was quite shocked. I dont know why they couldnt at least pull it to the next nearest station, and why no staff went to guide the passengers.

Why not? Sentul is synonymous with trains because Sentul, located just outside of KL, is where the KTMB Works is located. An LRT station called Sentul is there too.

SBS Transit is NEL, and the Sengkang and Punggol LRT

Last time they say if SMRT take NEL, then future line will prob give everything to SMRT, but now SBStransit is still holding on, so dunno if future lines, e.g. Bukit Timah line, SBSTransit will get to bid and run some of the lines also as well?? there will lots of lines in future. -

The CCL Train is the same as the NEL. -
The whole CCL is to be run by SMRT.
The train is the same(Alstom), however it is has 3 cars not 6. the CCL Alstom train uses third rail unlike NEL who use overhead. The pictures of the circle line black train in the website are cool -
