BT PANJANG LRT
Route A (Service A) departs and terminates at Choa Chu Kang LRT station (BP1). It runs via Senja station (BP13)
Route B(Service B) departs and terminates at Choa Chu Kang LRT station (BP1). It runs via Petir station (BP7)
Route C (Service C) departs and terminates at Ten Mile Junction (BP14).
It runs via Bukit Panjang (BP6) and Senja (BP13) stations.
Guideway
7.8 km of elevated guideway.
Construction started in November 1996 and was completed in April 1998.
Took 2,654 steel piles, 253 beams and 90,000 tonnes of concrete to build.
Vehicles
19 vehicles
Each vehicle is 12.8 m long, 2.8 m wide and 3.4 m high.
Weighs 15,000 kg
Can carry 105 passengers, 22 seated & 83 standing.
Average cruising speed at 25 km/h; maximum speed of 55 km/h.
Vehicles are fitted with rubber tyres for a quiet ride.
Vehicles fitted with special "misting windows" to protect privacy of residents in
apartment blocks close to the LRT guideway.
Two Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panels located near the doors will provide
information on how to use the LRT system, how to buy tickets, how to check the
status of the tickets, etc. The LCD panels can also be used to display commercials and
advertisements.
Stations
14 stations and a depot.
All stations within walking distance of less than 400 m from most apartment blocks at
Bukit Panjang and Choa Chu Kang.
Choa Chu Kang LRT station is integrated with the Choa Chu Kang MRT station.
Bus interchanges are located next to two LRT stations, namely Choa Chu Kang (BP1)
and Bukit Panjang (BP6).
Depot
The LRT depot is integrated with a commercial complex - Ten Mile Junction.
The depot facilities, Operations Control Centre and Ten Mile Junction Station are
located at the third level of the building.

Peak period : 2 to 4 minutes
