I think Buangkok may open soon as there are more flats being built there.
As for woodleigh, i think it will only be a "substitute" if one day Potong Pasir station is too old for use and so on.

Woodleigh station ? don't bother to open the station. Nothing is located above the station except cemetries. Bungkok station should open in the next year.

Now the NEL train speeds past Woodleigh station as if it were not existent. last time it take the trouble to slow down.....
i hope the speed from the early part of from Serangoon to Kovan can be restored to the normal speed soon -
For your info, Buangkok Station is Only to be opened in 2008 when the whole stretch of land is Fully or 75% deveolped.. The flats over there are now within walking distance of Ranggung LRT station. So, itz only logical to take from Sengkang. If the station is really opened in 2006, let mi tell you, many ppl will stil prefer to go to SGK.. Fact is ppl tend to go to Compass to buy things before they head home.. thats the case now.. Even those staying in pungool would alight at Sengkang then taek 83 home. So... As for Woodleigh, the whole area of cemetries have been cleared. A new 'Town' is being Planned over that whole big chunk of land. In the next 10 years, Serangoon will be even more crowded as Woodleigh Town is Under Serangoon Town Centre. -

For SGN - KVN, because the station sunk..
As for Buangkok, it would not even be 2008... As see how MP and HDB wants Buangkok to be up... Even Sengkang West LRT can be up early this yr...
As for Woodleigh, until cmty cleared and HDB flats are built -

In my opinion, the new town in Woodleigh should be bulit as a separate town from Serangoon and Potong Pasir. i know some of the flats are within Ranggung LRT, but if they wanna to go to city they has to take up to Sengkang then take down again. those going down i think they would take bus to Hougang MRT. and, LRT has to another fare from MRT. -
Buangkok might be opening these few years as for woodleigh... i think it is a pity for those condo people and those stay at Joo Seng... the cemetries there are being dug up and housing will be bulid there soon... maybe within 8-15 yrs will open.
