Was in one train yesterday. The floor pasted with green grass pictures. Felt as tho I'm in a greenery. Then I looked at the other cabin, all rocks! But the poles had those berry leaves.. Silkair advertisement. Really makes me wana go for a tour..

In case you guys are so ignorant, let me tell you guys:
Taking of photos of trains in train stations or inside the train itself is not allowed unless you've gotten permission from the train company. If you had taken photos of the train, I cant be bothered, but for your own good, it is wiser not to publicise those photos on such a forum. -

taking pics aint illegal if ur taking them for pleasure..eg. tourists etc. BUT if ur taking pics for the same reasons as those JI terrorists..well go and boil ur head..

Its blurry but a fair shot, nonetheless. That loco is a 19 Class shunter. It is most likely to be No. 19103 as this is the only known shunter assigned to Tanjong Pagar at present. Shunters do not work the main line. They work in the yard such as arranging consists into various sidings or fetching the coaches from the shed to the platform and vice versa. That is why they are painted in bright orange. Normally, it is paired with a brake van where another crewman directs the driver as well as help to couple/uncouple the cars.
The 19 Class is the last shunter model of KTMB. They were manufactured in Japan by Hitachi and were new in 1983. This diesel-electric locomotive has 650 HP and a Bo-Bo wheel configuration.
