To those expecting the usual dose of chio babes, sorry to disappoint you. I'm going to use this thread to rant.
To Maxim Singapore,
I am seriously considering not renewing my deal with you if this shyte goes on. This has to be THE worst of many terrible issues that you have dished out. You even had the gall to put it in a plastic wrap to prevent the paying public from browsing and deciding not to buy such a crap issue.
The 4 doublesided posters of the international so-so's did not cut as an excuse for the wrap either coz the chics are all skanky. Not to mention the ones featured within. Who in hell is this Sawadee chic?
What happened to the celebs this month? Celebrating Deepavali? or maybe they're fasting and were too underweight to pose?
Whatever the excuse, this is not worth the money I pay every month. In fact, its not even worth my time posting this. The gadgets featured are also dated and tired. Wazzapwiddat? Where's the good stuff that we actually want for Christmas?
As a protest to this bullshyte, I am refusing to scan any of the chic pics (they suck anyways) for this forum. It is an insult to my fellow members' tastes in good looking women. And I implore my friends to not waste money on this either. Go to the library and browse it there.
So as an insult back at you, Maxim Singapore, I am posting what I feel are the best pictures in your magazine this month. From a MEN"S magazine, I give you, sgForum, Vincent Ng ... for those who appreciate a really sweet set of abs and from me to the chics who visit this forum.

he is like all over the mags in singapore and on tv......
yeah, good physique and all but sometimes he looks cuter with clothes on -
thank you ConScan for your feedback. if it aren't worth the 6 dollars, we will take the advice and save the money for something else.
i'm also against the idea of wrapping magazines in plastic. if we are not allowed to browse, how do we know whether the content is good? unless of course the covergirl is a super hot celebrity, the fanboys will buy them no matter how crappy it is. -

I''ve heard that playboy is actually cleared to be sold in China.... but Singapore doesn't allow it..... hmmm...... I think we got a slightly stricter censorship than China...............gosh.

Local franchise mags are sad really. Maxim and FHM US are way ahead in terms of content and the photos. And yeh, I stressed on the content cos it's loads in the US ones. The local version will take here and there from their mother mag and localized wherever it is needed so.
Hey, I even enjoyed the US adverts than the local ones in both mags.

I've noticed that Maxim Singapore tends to put ethnic chinese girls on its covers, especially local talent. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
