Before she was selected from hundreds of girls around the world as the winner of Guess Timeless Beauty Contest to represent the line of Guess watches on April 18, 2004 in Switzerland, Amber started out as a 17-year-old model from Tawau, Sabah, eager to make her mark in the local modeling industry. Five years down the line, at 23, she is known as the face that has launched a long list of brands including Salabianca, Sony, Stila Cosmetics and most recently, Whisper, Focus Point and L’oreal Hair Color Professional.
She has started her foray into hosting TV programs and acting, and has set her sights on shooting more films in the future. The jet-setting beauty has twice been voted Best Female Model at MIFA 2004 & 2005, a remarkable achievement for a model her age. Amber is delighted to share with us that, “From an unknown, I’ve become somebody, thanks to all my supporters as well as the websites they have set up for me”. -
