  As for why girls' pictures are more popular than guys' ones, well... throughout history, the female body -- with the smoother curves and lines -- has always been widely recognized as a much more aesthetically appealing form of beauty, as compared to the male body. That is why in art, be it modern or classical, more have sought female models as the subject of their inspiration. In today's context, it is also the reason why there are more beauty paegents than manhunt contests.
  
  A female nude generally invites admiration and fantasies. A male nude, on the other hand, tends to invites disgust and a few snickers, especially if he is running.
