Outing For Dota!

  Hi all! I'm interested in hosting a DotA lan outing for all the sgForums singapore gamers! I'm sure it will be fun and I hope to meet many new friends through SgForums. It can be more than just you, for example you have 9 friends whom you always go along for lan games, you can also call them along! I'm hoping to make this the biggest outing ever in SgForums! As for the price, I promise it will be cheap with plenty of time for action on good computers. It will also be somewhere near food and beverages. As for now, I need sufficient feedback on this lan outing! I'm all open for further suggestions!

  Come on guys! It will be fun I'm sure of that! Besides it will be a good chance to meet nice and sweet girls:P
  I'm currently thinking of DotA + CabaL + Counter Strike kinda outing and maybe we can all go for supper after that! Sit down drink beer talk cock introduce each other and if the feedback's good I can have more than 1 of this outings! If you guys wanna go just put your name like this, for example,

   elementalangel : hahah irc is a good idea but bukit timah is very inaccessible wor.. I might consider somewhere near town area with plenty of good food for supper after that :D , still searching for a good location with enough computers but I won't take long I promise

  why so ma fan wan to outing in lan shop? Do it in Battlenet USWest server la.. haiyo !!!! The best if everyone give their nick to TS, then TS add later on all get into clan room or watever shit. then plan to play together.. sigh... Too bad im Malaysian, and many sg host see MY like see ghost... lol will straight away kick !!! I still love the most when ppl said mh when they died lol

    I think it's more than just a lan outing, the main motive is to get to know more real life friends. I hate to say but there's a big difference between virtual reality and the real world. Many hardcore gamers like to reason out his addiction by arguing that people only notice gaming as a major problem because of it's negative reputation, and if someone else spent the same time building cars as a gamer spend the number of hours on his game, they won't say anything about the car builder but they will disapprove of the gamer. My point here is, if the car builder starts building his cars to the extent that he lives in a garage and hide under a car everyday and loses his social status then yes, i would say it's a problem, but most of car builders don't do that, yet majority of the gamers are losing their social life. I hope you will understand the pain that I took to do all this, i don't wish to be controlled by my gaming addiction, i would rather control it and gain some new friends in the progress. Anyway I hope you can be there too for the outing:)
