so to make things simple...pumping items are for losers?Originally posted by RockeY:Yes its unfair, because if it was the case, you'll see phantom assasins, terrorblades, anti mage, troll etc in clan matches. And they'll only get stronger as the game goes.
People use lich not only because of its strong ultimate, but also to deny the enemy as she is a real handful early game. So whats the use of having her to deny the opponent fighter, if the fighter can just ask his teamate to buy the items for him.
Individual skills are needed for these and teamwork skills are needed for big battles. To help your teamate by buying him items, will only cause his to rely too much on his teamates and that is not teamwork.
In my opinion yes. But the sharing of chickens should be allowed!Originally posted by lageihsif:so to make things simple...pumping items are for losers?
you've got to be kidding me.Originally posted by RockeY:Yes its unfair, because if it was the case, you'll see phantom assasins, terrorblades, anti mage, troll etc in clan matches. And they'll only get stronger as the game goes.

let me get this right, relying on your team mates is not teamwork? doing things individually is teamwork??Originally posted by RockeY:Yes its unfair, because if it was the case, you'll see phantom assasins, terrorblades, anti mage, troll etc in clan matches. Maybe she mistook CMfor Lich or typo errors whatsoever.Originally posted by JennTS:you've got to be kidding me.
hmm i guess what rockey meant was that basic stuff like farming you should rely on your own skill, because asking a teamate to sponsor u items is like spoonfeeding..oh well guess the best is for rockey to come here and clear up the misunderstanding.Originally posted by hisoka:let me get this right, relying on your team mates is not teamwork? doing things individually is teamwork??
i would say its a strategy i guess.Originally posted by JennTS:Well, it's quite unfair as certain heroes like RockeY mentioned are able to take on 3 - 5 players alone, especially Naix, Phantom Assasin and Terrorblade when they have the proper equipment.
If the last player is going to be someone like Lich or Zeus (people who can't run, no disable), who the heck is going to care? Even if they had infinate money no one is going to be scared of them. Just gang them and they'd die patheticly.
On the other hand, if it's a late-game hero (must have healing) like any of the 3 which I mentioned above, the other team is probably doomed. For example, Naix with his gay 40% lifesteal can probably just go around biting everyone up while the victim's teammates try but fail to kill Naix.
And yes, it is possible. Sometime ago I was playing Terrorblade, and my teammates were getting owned upside down so they all left, and so I took their items, pawned some of them for cash, and in the end I had Treads, S&Y, Aegis, Rapier, Skadi. I tried to fight their team, but lost because I got disabled too much, and their Naga Siren burned away all my mana. After that I farmed abit more and made a BKB, fought all 5 of them again at the river, they lost very badly and quit (didn't even sunder).
