Regarding wow and dota..

Hi... I am not certain of anything about dota so i want to ask if i can get dota through world of warcraft or izzit a must to get it through frozen throne...sry its a bit redundant cuz i hardly know anything...just feel dota is fun after i tried out at a lan shop. Currently, i have wow...accidentally uninstalled my frozen throne...so i wish dere is a way to play dota through wow to save the trouble.. all help will be appreciated

dota can onli be played by thru frozen throne...wow is just another mmorpg...they are 2 seperate things

there are mainly 4 different ways to play dota.
Battlenet- you need a cd key
Hamachi- you just need the latest version of tft and find friends to connect to
Zion-Almost the same as lancraft
Lancraft-3rd party program which allows you to play with people at MIRC by connecting to a host using his IP -

Nope. NOt possible. WoW and frozone throne runs on 2 different software platform. So you have install back frozen throne if you want to play dota.Originally posted by OasisBlue:Hi... JUZ TYPE IN YOUR PREFERRED USERID AND PROCEED TO JOIN SOMEONE NETWORK( U MUZ EITHER CREATE A NETWORK YOURSELF AND ASK SOME1 TO JOIN OR U COULD JOIN OTHERS)
WHEN U JOIN OR CREATE A NETWORK, AND IF U HAPPEN TO CREATE GAME, U COULD ASK YOUR KAKIS TO STRAIGHT AWAY START UP WARCRAFT3 AND GO TO LAN AND THEY WILL SEE YOUR GAME INSTEAD OF USING LANCRAFT AND SAV UP THE TEDIOUS WORK OF ENTERING IP -
