Just thought I would share this.
The other day I was playing 1 v 5 sg game. Host had obsidian destoryer. I was thinking is this guy mad, 1 v 5 how can he win. Then techies left, so 1 v 4.
I random drow ranger, cause I wasnt serious so random.
Long story cut short, he died twice, and left.
Then my teammates were saying he wasnt that good also and nobody can win a 1 v 5. -
of cos no one can win a 1v5 game.
imagine ur team 5 players which consists of sand king,skeleton king,earthshaker,vengful spirit,lion?
all of them walk same lane as the one person can le...they stun stun stun sure die.... -
Ive played a 1v5 game b4, the host dam zai sia... sand king with book for necro... own us like crap man... my team also all stunners, tiny,skelly king,nerubian,veng all but me i was tinker... since all 5 on the lane,we get exp dam farking slowly... when we lv 2 he was lv 6+ laio... one burrow strike at us... then epi, he use necro to drain our mana so no stun...that was last year la so the versions were diff... if im not wrong was the mid versions of v6, at the end we got owned.

aiya split 3 lanes and chiong farming, then pool to one person

No need lah, 2 to 3 guys farm other lanes, 2 to 3 guys vs that 1 guy. Sure win one lah. Dont 5 ppl 1 lane. Very stupid.

actually it is possible to play a 1v5, but it depends on which hero you have. most definately you need one that can tank a decent amount of damage and nuking, and probably one that can heal as well.
strangly the time when I did win a 1v5 was when I played drow ranger. i had absolutely no HP boost, nor did I have anything to reduce spell damage.
but yea, terrorblade is one ultra strong hero. often in any game I usually take on a 2v1/3v1 fight. a 1v1 fight to me just seems so ridiculous. took on a 5v1 fight and killed 4 heroes, and I only lost 700hp without even using sunder. of course they were all badly controlled as most of them left and someone just commanded them all to attack me.
took on a 5v1 game too, after my teammates left. stole their money to make myself a rapier + aegis + bkb (i had threads, s&y and eaglehorn initially). they left shortly after losing badly in a 5v1 gangbang ^^. -
