He is kinda sucky though,don't use him unless you think you're good and experience enough..Its kinda easy for stunners to kill you..Note that..

Tormented Soul Sucks. Period.
It takes a real pro to truly unlock the full potential of him. Not recommended for people who hate heores with long spell delay. -

For those heros with bloody lots of magic resistance get burize or stgian -
To truly master tormented soul, u need to be really brave coz u depend on diabolic explosion and ur ulti to kill ppl. You hav to charge into a group of ppl and start spamming ur spells. He can break the entire group of ppl pushing towers.
For me, i will get him
BoT (first)
Afgahim scepter
then, guinsoo
if possible try getting eye of skadi or linken sphere -
okay, basically one of the only good weapons for spellcasters is guinsoo.
trust me scepters are pretty much a waste of money. you dont gain much damage from it...maybe the hp boost is nice, but thats it.
dagon...i suppose its useful, but i dont bother if i use lina or lion, since they got their own zap. too lazy to do a dual zap.
refresher...useless for tormented.
but tormented soul would make a good battle mage. fight with both physical and magic attacks.

these are some good weapons you might want to try.
for lina i get boots of speed, guinsoo, then upgrade to threads.
usually by now i start to rely more on my physical attack, since guinsoo gives a nice +60 dmg.
deso is nice..make use of an orb effect.
battle fury, abit wasted since it doesnt work on ranged, but it can be used by any class.
the rest of the weapons work for everyone too.
but i usually just get threads, guinsoo, deso and at most hyperstone before the game ends....its not that hard to farm for, i mean i usually can get guinsoo by lvl 13 (farm on heros). but, leavers ruin everything. -

Boots of Travel (For catching opponents)
Aghim Scepter (For HP and MP, you'll be suprise how fast your mana finishes)
Bracer (Although it sounds funny for INT to buy Bracer, it HELPS alot)
---These items should last you until 3/4 of game---
Dagger (To run. Not attack cause in late game, you'll die easily)
Mekansm (To heal your sorry ass)
Linken (Not for the blocking skill but for the 6HP/Sec regen)
---Should be enough to win you the game---
If you really got money, go for a Skadi for extra HP and MP
When in battle, always take the upper hand. Backstab him, not the other way around cause when you attack, you need alot of preparations. You need to activate Pulse,Dia before going after him.
When being chased, you should be able to outrun him because of your BoT and use a dagger.
Don't use your BoT to return to base, use to go to another lane to continue farming, your life regeneration would be fast because of Linkens and Bracer.
You should prevail and end up winning
One more thing, always remember to lure leavers out of the fountain and get a Triple Kill

i believe he's a hero who needs bkb..he's just so easily killed by stunners..

That's for me. So far the game usually ends before I get my Skadi, so leave the 6th item's slot to whatever you want. Usually I carry a scroll of teleport for that. -
wtf . u people are clueless of its power. TS shud buy soul booster as first item. then dagger. if the game goes as far as that. get a bkb or guinsoo after tat. depending on how much u need it. TS OWNS BIG TIME. GET IT RIGHT NOOBS.

TS definately needs Soul Booster and Preserverance.
He needs lots of hp (to survive nukes) and lots of mana (to spam diabolic & ult).
As TS, your main goal (early game) is to max out Diabolic Edict & lightning asap. Then wonder around the rivers and try to kill those low hp enemies 1 v 1. If the enemies wise up and travel in groups, then too bad.
Diabolic Edict can also be used on towers.
If nothing cocks up (provided the enemies not too pro), then use the gold to upgrade to BoT and Guinsoo.
Basically, TS is an awesome farmer, if used correctly. -
will his ult stack with radiance? if so, get agahnim and radiance and 200+dmg/s to ur enemies
