Official DotA Tournament Version - 6.12

6.12 is the official tournament map.
Since it is now the official tournament map, all heroes/items/skills described in your posts will be taken as that from 6.12, unless stated.
e.g. I was using 5.84 Faceless Void and we totally owned!
e.g. Faceless Void's skills are really cool. (Since no version was stated, we take it to be from 6.12)
P.S: Please make this sticky if possible. -
not true..wcg is still using 5.84...so most tournaments held here in sg is 5.84 but damn its so boring as compared to 6.12..

WCG stated 5.84 as the map, so they can't change it as and when they like.
Clan TDA has declared 6.12 as the official tournament version. -
inhouses and clan yes..i thought you were referring to the tournments held in singapore..clan tda my old clan..

I'm sure that if WCG Singapore changed the map to 6.12, there would be alot of debate over it.
Heroes like the almight Medusa in 5.84 would no longer be as strong, and many team strategies might have to be changed. Teams that lost due to the opposing team's use of imbalanced heroes would definitely want a rematch and hence cause problems. That's why WCG Singapore cannot change the map. -

wrong,its because the 6 version is always changing,thats y its still considered unstable..so lets say this week there's a contest in 6.12,den next week 6.13 come out..so stick to a finalised version better..
