If I can maintain second class (upper), I'll be more than satisfied. It's already difficult enough to do so as it is.Originally posted by FireIce:hot fudge aiming 1st class horny ah
Weird.... Can like that?Originally posted by fudgester:To be frank, I just finished my third year.
The reason why it states 'Mechanical Engineering 4' is because I've overloaded my modules in the preceding semesters... so they upgraded me to be a fourth-year student.
Which also meant that I got my results at 9am instead of 5pm, unlike most of my peers.![]()
how do you maintain A- average for all your modules? Thats crazy!Originally posted by fudgester:If I can maintain second class (upper), I'll be more than satisfied. It's already difficult enough to do so as it is.
I also didn't know that until last semester when they started identifying me as 'ME4' instead of 'ME3'.Originally posted by CoolMyth:Weird.... Can like that?![]()

I was never aiming for 1st class anyway... that's waaaaay out of my league.Originally posted by DriftingGuy:Eh cap 4.11 in 3rd year can totally forget abt 1st class liao lar![]()
Ok i tot you were gonna maintain your 1st class, i didnt see you post your cap in the 1st page..Originally posted by fudgester:Uhhh.... a B+ grade is 4.0.
A- gives 4.5. No kidding - the formal results transcripts say that.
So it's a matter of maintaining a B+ average... which isn't exactly small potatoes, either.
Since you are in your 3rd year, its pretty easy. Just butter up your prof for your fyp. Its almost a guaranteed A and its 8-12 mcs.Originally posted by fudgester:I was never aiming for 1st class anyway... that's waaaaay out of my league.
I'll be more than satisfied if I can keep it at second class (upper).![]()
I personally know a couple of fellas with CAP scores nearing 5.00.Originally posted by DriftingGuy:Ok i tot you were gonna maintain your 1st class, i didnt see you post your cap in the 1st page..
No i meant in general how do you maintain A- average. I thought about it even after I graduate. Unless you are both hardworking and smart, its a pipe dream
Those are the people who are willing to risk life and limb to get to where they are.Originally posted by fudgester:I personally know a couple of fellas with CAP scores nearing 5.00.
They stay back in the Central Library till closing time every single night to study - from the very beginning of the semester right till the end.![]()

Well, I admire their perseverance, determination, and sheer will.Originally posted by CoolMyth:Those are the people who are willing to risk life and limb to get to where they are.
On one side, I admired them for their dedication. On the other, I know I can't do that.![]()
I observed it's mostly the FTs that can do this.Originally posted by fudgester:Well, I admire their perseverance, determination, and sheer will.
But on the other hand, I don't suppose they have much of a life, either.![]()
