Islam advocates equality amongst the both sexes. However, emphasis is made for the women to adopt a motherly figure in the family. The father will work and provide the substantial economic need while the mother will be providing the emotional and "psychological" comforts. In other words, the father's contribution will be quantitative while the mother's contribution will be qualitative. That is why, for the
Zakat Fitrah, only the contributing males proceed with the payment.
There are numerous important dates in the beautiful religion of Islam.
The most important being Eidl Adha (Hari Raya Haji), Eidl Fitri (Hari Raya Puasa), Isra' Mir'aj (whereby the day being the ascension of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to the Heavens), Islamic New Year Day, Ashurah (Day when prophet Moses begins his journey from Egypt to the Blessed Land).
Each of the Hijri month has its own significance and bears testimony to important events in the Biography of the Life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). They serve as a reminder to Muslims (men and women) of the struggle of the Blessed Prophet (PBUH) to accomplish his task of conveying the message of Islam (Submission to ALLAH). Moreover, the Hijri months are closely linked with the sunnah tradition of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his teachings to Mankind.
To answer the next 3 questions,
Islam frowns upon the element of risk when making money. Money made when it may be lost or gained in that sense. Just like gambling. Strictly also, money made from Investments are also frowned upon. When you put in a FD of any amount, the interest made is not for you to keep.
Also, Islam forbids business where it involves booze or sleaze. As long as your payslip comes from an Establishment where it sells/makes/serves Beer,Wine or any alcoholic products, the money is strictly forbidden for your own consumption.
More to come but i'm hungry ah
