Current music vs Songs in the past

  What do you think of the many singers which have sprouted out in the entertainment world recently? As in boy bands such as Energy, F4, 5566, etc...And even singer who is gaining a lot of popularity such as Jay Chou..do you think the music created in the entertainment world now is better than those created last time?

  i prefer wang jie, andy lau songs. the songs in 90s n 80s i like more...

  For English Music: -
  Music in the past is all about love.
  Music in the present is all about lust.
  
  For Chinese Music: -
  Music is the past sounds funny but filled with emotions.
  Music is the present sounds melodious but filled with fake emotions.

  Actually current music ain't very nice esp the mandarin ones.. that's why recently I prefer canto music more, even though I didnt listen to loads of them.. I think it's a pretty good choice if you gets tired of mandarin pop.

  hehe I dun listen to canto pop cos they dun make a lot of sense to me cos I am almost illiterate when it comes to Cantonese...
  
  Some of the recent singers are pretty good I think, like personally I like Jay Chou, David Tao and Sun Yan Zi. I just have something against boy bands like F4...

  Hehe...my mom loves Teng Li Jun. So does my aunt. So I guess I grow up listening to her songs since my mom played them quite often.

  ya lor, the chinese music nowadays is really crap, even ppl like jay are sounding like S.H.I.T, personally feels last album was really a letdown compared to previous ones....... not to mention boy bands like f4. chinese songs from 80s and 90s were so much better, but quality dropped too much since then.

  i think i listen more mandopop songs from 90s compared to others. but i get tired of chinese songs sometimes so i started listening to canto songs as well.
