Depend lah, if raining, can give excuse, pax need a shelter to take taxi mah, aiya, most important must be smart and instinctive, got cam, LTA or TP officers, dun do funny thing, at least respect their present mah, knn, some TDs drive like never see them, infront of them do illegal U turn, stop at zig zag and go toilet...or smoke at a prohibited areas...like this no respect mah.. Basic instinct must be there as a driver, it can be a mix of experiences and personal awakeness , look around yr surround, smell it, sometime yr basic instinct will tell you there is something fishy, why all car slow down, why no one park here, why there is some people on the overhead bridge, be alert...but sad to say, many TDs all ai koon ai koon, pui pui, hoon ki sai type one, at night time to sleep, they dun sleep, PCC or watch porn, then morning driving...all sleepy sleepy.. I once ever heard 2 TP talking to each other, one said "beo taxi drivers and truck drivers, very easy to catch them, then can easily fulfill our quotas target" the other younger one replied, "good teaching, thanks sifu"

I think 6mths will only learn main roads and highways. Small roads and shortcuts take years.

6 months can throw key liao, then go work as an employee, if boss ask you know how to drive and Singapore road well, you can say, no problem, I am an expert

i survive 18 months as a TD
rent fully paid, did not owe taxi company a single cent
accident = 0
damage to car and LTA summon = YES
TP demerit points = 3
but still survive. so how many months can you survive as TD? you don't do grab? just sweep the street and don't take comfort booking?
