Ugly pax and their dirty tactics

dear bro and sister in taxi trade, please share with us your encounters with these lousy pax.
i will start first.
1) quarrel on the route and ask for discount
this one is very common. i encourter Chinese and Indian pax with this type of problem.
so if you don't ask which route to take or if they refused to tell you, then in the middle of the journey they quarrel with you and accused you of using the longer route.
i end up give discount as much at $8 to $10.
2) expressway exit closed
same as No. (1) they also ask for discount

As a taxi dfvr u must work smart.when ask for routes,if paxs refused to give,then u suggest the route,,ask him to confirm,then only move

let me clarify
took two pax.. first pax i completed the journey, no problem
but second pax quarrel with me on the way to his home. then ask for discount.

as taxi drivers we have the following options:
a) drop them along the road side and don't collect money from them, OR
b) bring them to police station and make police report

OR c) give them some discount, then forget it, next time, be smarter when taking such paxs, especially people who think they are smarter, like foreign ah neh and this forum Queen Go police station is a waste of your precious time.

If really take longer route then lan lan lah. Give discount loh. If cher taichi one I will open my google map show them where got longer? Then KAN them back lah...

I went to pax place at 7.15am. She made me wait. At 8am I saw her took a comfort taxi. I still charge her (grab pay). She complain to grab. I ask grab to tell her to give me explanation.

Seems like No Show is quite common. Can be quite frustrating. No wonder some tds just concentrate on street pick.

Many cheapo grabbies go into grab to compare the prices, that is the problem. Today, paxs is the biggest winner of this game, they got an array of transportation mode to take and compare, bus, mrt, taxi, grabcar, grabshare (CB fireice lar char bor favorite), grabhitch, grabtaxis, grabpremier, uberx, uberpool, uber...illegal touting, ..and all these menu come with the prices too, just like restaurant Menu. So, when a cab come around with a cheaper option, why paid you so high?? I am also a grabby, a cheap one too. But at least I honor my call
