  Some old birds got pride.  For me, I am always happy pax tells me exactly which route to take.  I don't like to use my brain much...

  Anyway, Yishun Ave 8 is now connected from Yishun Ave 7 all the way to CTE via Seletar West Link. This is the alternative route to CTE/TPE to bypass the busy Yishun Ave 2.

  i kana b4!Told pax got accident n jam b4 start(Don't believe)!BUT end trip the lady face sibeh BLACK!she children from nearby vivo also take cab by city reached hm early alotlotlot n cheaper fare than her...atw jam plus accident!Song Bo!

  Most but not all taxi passengers are in a hurry so they may not want the fastest route. These passengers usually wants a cheaper route. So it's still advisable to ask for their preference.

  the meter will still jump

  But there are some paxs who careless what route you take, why? Because they are on the job, fare paid by company, so the longer you take, the more rest they have inside, with aircon, radio and a handsome Uncle driver...enjoy the ride. Asked one Italian pax at fishery port going to punggol water point for some ice cream business, asked him what road he wishes to take, he told me, any road, all road lead to Rome. I like such pax...and also if you are cdg driver, Cisco and Aetos paxs also good.

  Depend, when from tuas to AP, I feel sleeping, I will ask pax to talk to me, I told them I scare I slept, so quickly they start talking, anything also talk, both wins. First, when talking pax forget the long journey, second, I no more sleepy and actually, thirdly, pax usually give some tips and a golden handshakes, so if you see at departure, a cab shaking hands with pax, that could be me. Talking to pax also depend on their body language, I can start a conversation with anyone, I am born with it, not to mention, trained in it. Any pax, be it zharbo, chio bu, ah boys, ah girls, ah neh, ang mo, aunties and uncles, or even ah pek and ah ma, I also can strike a conversation very fast, and most paxs end up happy and surprisingly, wanted to talk more and ask if they can book my cab. The only pax that you do not talk is one that are high in their ego and look down on others like taxi drivers, this type of people no use entertain them, keep quiet is the best policy

  Ya. If everyday pax talk abt uber and taxi topics , it's like a parrot repeating. Can get bored easily. Customers always like to be acknowledged and greeted. Chances of getting complaints are lesser if they feel comfortable throughout their journey.

  Anyway, is dressing professionally important as a td?

  Normal decent dress will do.plain collar shirt,nothing colorful or fanciful nor branded.trousers preferably black n loose.

  I prefer jeans more comfortable n warm.it won't tear at the backside if accidentally lifted a heavy luggage at AP with paxs looking behind u

  Well, last time I use to wear decent, now I saw PHD wear bermudas, short and flip flop slippers, I also anyhow wear liao, as long as got a shirt, a pair of pant and slipper can already, then for trick on carrying luggages, always put 2 plastic on yr lower back. So when paxs ask you to carry, you can said and even show that you got back injuries, then no need to carry lor, also no complain and also no need scare trouser tear. This one also my ex chief ah pool taught me one

  10 AP paxs, the most I help to carried is only for 1 or 2 paxs, and these are usually chio bu with big neh neh...they bent down, can see mah.. others, sori hor, me no hard up for smlj cdg award hor...

  No need lah, but must come out and help to put the wheelchair, as for the pax, let the maids or relatives to help him or her, unless you are qualify and well trained like me, taking weak people is not so easy one hor, If one bone break, or fell, you may hv to answer for his family, limpek SMRT handicap Cab trained aka London cab, the whole wheel chair can also go in, then strap on. Further more, if it is female wheel chair bound, she can said you molest her hor, last time limpek tio a 80yo aunty said I touch her...nabey

  Depend lah, but in AP, must come out. It all takes 2 hand to clap, both pax and cabby must help each other, that mutual understanding will guarantee you a smooth and wonderful journey. A happy pax always end up with a happy cabby

  Next time, next time then talk, as Taxi drivers think so far for what?? If cannot be TD, be Uber Driver lah, Ah long said one. TD is suppose to be physical and not mental.
