  Different companies different payout, mostly around $80 per day for lost of income, but if you got injuries up to 3 days MC, get a third party lawyer to suit the other party gao gao, at least $2.5k, but this is more of a civil case

  Few years ago, morning 5am, got a call at sin ming walk, drove there, got into an accident, a pick up sending mee and kuay teow, drove by PRC driver hit directly onto my rear, that time was $70/day, IO said, Uncle, we give you new sonata, you can still drive and make living, I show him my middle finger. During claiming period or mc period, or waiting for cab repair, try not to drive a spare one cdg offer you, otherwise, they can void all insurance and claim. Then the IO at Loyang top floor asked me, Uncle, why you carry two big bags? I told him those are mee pok, mee hoon, mee kia and kuay teow mee drop on the floor, the PRC driver gave me

  If encounter accident and the other party is at fault but refused to admit or sign black and white. Any advice? Call TP or police?

  Just take the license plate, take cam or photos, make a police report indicating the other party involved refuse to admit or co operate, then make a report at your taxi companies, call tow. If it is his fault 100%, you hv the evidences, call ambulance, police, ministers, or any other thing you want to call also can, then ferry to hospital, say head concussion, ......

  Own fault, depend on how serious is the accident, if it involve injuries, high cost of repair, please report, you cannot handle the private settlement and may get sue until toh ti ti. But if it is a small knock, can private settle, but must record conversation and also put it in black and white. Otherwise, the not at fault party play you out and go report to his insurance company, you jialat liao. Finally, my most kind advice is, dun get into an accident, be it whose fault, as TD, we must lower our ego and pride on the road, it people wants to cut lane and drive recklessly or point middle finger...let them be, once pass, it is over, do not get angry or challenge them. Stay calm, accident to driving taxis is never a win situation, be it own or other faults, and for motivation, most drivers in Singapore are ok and sensible, only a few chao kar like to drive recklessly.

  with cam in car and kena accident as Mr bowah said record everythings from car to human.  as human can clam he is injured by the accident even it is not. best is to report to police right after the accident. no delay. if have people in the car ask everyone to stand together to take a nice picture. :-)

  Correct, best is report police, insurance and collect evident. However, the very best of all, is try to avoid accident as much as possible. Always go out driving with a mental state of "I will not get into an accident" rather than "I will make $300 net today"

  The key is be pro active, pre emptive and not post active hor. There are many drivers on the road, phv and taxis are earning money from the roads, it is our profession, other like bus, pick up, lorries are driving for companies, monthly paid salaries, and they dun drive long like taxis, therefore, it is important not to get into an accident, of course, sometime it is unavoidable, that is why it is call an ACCIDENT. But as we ply along the road to earn our living, we need learn to have a good sense of the road condition, a sense of what others is going to do in a matter of second, and that skill is not something that can be learnt in any classroom or so call smlj academy or driving school, that skills are mostly learned from mistakes we get in our initial stage of driving, as saying goes, if you dun fall off a bicycle, you will never learn how to ride on it.

  There is this soft learning call TOM that can help one to calm down and prevent any mishaps. Everywhere we go, there are hazards and risks, you cannot avoid them, more so, are those on the road like TD, we are exposed to all these in every second and minutes we are on the road, the changes in front of us and behind is at time, beyond our grip. TOM can help you to think, observe and manage.

  Very good. I throw for half a year already. Never ever regretted. The only regret is why didn't I throw earlier. Now earning more with much relaxed hours and a nicer car.

  Almost everyday got screenshot picture of PHV driver posted online especially STOMP.

  Some CB Pax abit not happy will just post it online. I worried if i drive PHV, i will be famous overnight.
