Now, if you look at grab and uber business of not making profit and yet making lost consecutively for years and yet able to get billions of fund... you need to be logic enough to know what the shit are they trying to prove in this society both from an economy and political perspectives, but whatever you think of, they are not mend to be make profit, so called Non Profit Organisation or in short NPO. And in any business, the worst and most difficult competitor are the one who ignore profit. And today, we are facing them.

firstly how did facebook survive? All the offices ard the world, overhead cost, and still can spend so much buy over whatsapp.
something which let people use for free, spend hundred of millions to buy something else that let people use for free?
look at microsoft buy over linkedin.
look at alibaba buy over tango.
why ug burn so much and still so strong.
one word... Database.
database is the thing that cost money today.
one which huge database will cost a bomb in the stock market.
all these people including uber are earning billions from the stock market. Do you think they concern about the millions they lost per year? Afterall they minimising losses because consumers do pay part of their losses. The longer they exisit, the more database they have and the higher their share is.

Look at alibaba, anything to sell? No. They just a platform, and how rich is ma yun, and the share price.
airbnb any hotels? No... How rich is the owner/founder
angrybird, candycrush, pokemon all let people download and play for free, who maintain their server, overhead, offices etc? And how rich and successfuk are the owners and founders now?
These businesses just need to survive as long as possible for them to acquire more database and have their share price rocket up.
investors and businesses will also pump in money to let them survive, because they need their database for their business.
why investors pump money to uber when you and i also know that uber is losing big time money. They are not stupid, its most of us not able to see whats behind and no capability to play this game.

This one long long we knew already lah, with millions lost every Quarter, which business can survive, the problem is they are taxi drivers main competitor, the worst competitor to beat is one that never go for profit but rather depend on it by product of database. That is why Taxi can never beat them in term of fares and promotion.

Look, Ah Chua, Amazon.com took 7 years to see profit, alibaba took jack mah 10 years to see good profit and make him one of the rich man. All these tech companies are either do or die business, but as long as they got fund coming into them, the top CEO and managements get paid well, it is business as usual, it is only a matter of time, Uber will go into driverless, and all of us know that with the data (patent right) they hv in hand, they can swiftly transfer their client data into taking driverless beside selling data infos. Running at a lost of 1.27 billions, you think any business will survive or that investor will continue to plough money into it??? long ago we already mentioned, Uber (under google) is a data collection project using transportation of peoples as a mode of collecting, and the USA govt is very interested in it, so are many countries govt, Why??? because they can also use it to detech terrorist, crime and locate wanted people wherever a person or that person booked Uber or grab. Sometime you wonder why google knows your location and some webside know what you like to eat...or like me, some china site know I like bak bak...type

uber now earn lesser than b4 cos cut down incentives. my fren last time earn 6-7k nett, now less than 4k nett and must drive longer (14hrs min a day). He thinking go bk to TD

The problem with drivers is, whether uber or grab or taxis, when times are good, they all chiong and earn, then spent lavishly, then when times are bad, all kpkb bo money or less earning, so it is better to save during yr 6 to 7k per month moment, because when it rain, it will rain hard

Still driving. But an extra 2 hours now per day to make the same as before. But still, much better than driving a bloody taxi!!! Everywhere long queues of taxis. Yesterday I saw the queue of taxis at MBS at around peak evening time I also scared. Last time when we drive taxi, MBS so hot, all pick and go. Really nuisance man. Block all the entry points of MBS, Orchard Central, 313, Jem, Grans Hyatt and lots more.

At times, facebook cannot trust one lah, some just dun wan you to join, because the more join, more competition mah, currently there are 40,000 register PHV on the road, if it increase to 50,000 within the same amount of paxs, each PHV drivers will get lesser share of the pie mah. PHV is not only competing with taxis, now, they are competing among themselves.
