  As I said, if Uber and Grab is good, taxi long long eat grass liao, or so called up lorry again, and why are people willing to invest on electric taxis with salaried paid drivers?? this alone would had told you that people still see taxis viable. Remember what Uber and Grab young CEO said after they started about 3 months, they said, they will take over taxis companies and drivers in a year time, and now, after a few years, still cannot beat taxi, still taxi is around, still taxis are roaming the street and then, they changed their statement, oh we only compliment the shortfall of taxi in Singapore, especially during the peak period. And to be frank, without funds infused into Uber and Grab from Silicon valley and Temasek, Uber Singapore and Grab would had long long winded up liao.

Knn cumfuck still no show destination. 13 cbd trips dun have to take call....just $3 city surcharge enough. ... but need interview skill.... Now grab show destination. ..lagi easy...   Just to share.  I just completed my tdvl course last month. Our course includes PH topics. In 2017, all private hirers need to attend a short course. Also, car decal is compulsory for all private hire cars indicating the PH company and the PH driver's name distinctly on the side doors of the car.

  Just a 10 hrs short course for PH without tdvl. Those PH with tdvl only need to attend a 2 hours course.

  Attractive income as a PH driver indeed! I also have been thinking to try PH as contract is only 5 wks. Risk free. But i felt that is not so suitable for newbie like me. PH passengers may expect a more professional and personalized service. I am unfamiliar with routes so may be challenging for me. Thanks for sharing with us anyway madcab!

  so gross is 1500/0.8 + rental (let say 400/week), +petrol (let say 70/week)

  = 2345

  so each hour, u make  $58.60 gross? 

  so uber/grab give so much incentives? their max guarantee rate/hr is only around 35-37/hr..

  Rental minus off already la!!! Didnt i mentioned i only drive the minimum? Petrol a week max $160 after discounts. Uber bank deposit means rental already cut off. I already said nett income take home what. I won't talk cock 1 unlike those TDs.

  1.5k take home net. uber dont paid yr petrol. still yet to minus petrol. u call it net.

  54*7 + 1555/0.8 = 2321.

   

  2321/ 39.5 = 58.8.

  hourly rates is $58.8.

  uber max hourly incentive is only $36. if $58 hourly is achievable, they will not say  hourly income is $35.

  yr number just dont make sense.
