  5 digits claimed by ts. Of course we know his words cannot be trust. Ppl drive taxi that can bring up family and children complete univesity. But he cannot make money on taxi and claim 5 digits income on uber. May be uber pay him for telling the story. You have yet to show where is the avg job pay 7-8k

  Sai kong lor, but need to train for 2 years as apprentice,..then go china to learn Taoist mao shan shui... come back, register with Singapore Taoist association as practitioner, starting can earn 7 to 8k, then slowly go up to 10k, thereafter, can train others and earn extra, or have discipline to follow you.

  Because many people good hearted mah, dun want to take this type of money, you see many sai kong end up dying very miserable, why? Because con too much, some family very poor, not much silver money, still charge them so high, then recommend this and that stupid thing to them, then charge again, then at night just go sing some song, like going to karaoke..everyone have to bow at you..up and down, then later, went to the back smoking and drink kopi, call their PRC mistress, their jaguar service centre agent, ...

  Still have lah, tuas incineration plant, stir shit plant, rubbish collector, container drivers, casket cum partime phv drivers, recycle waste plant 4 at tuas south, zhi char chef, casino supervisor (trained in Houston), boarding ship officer, voyage repair marine technician, marina ferry terminal boat driver, changi AP security senior supervisor, funeral coordinators and planner, Neo garden food manager, kallang and tuas pharmaceutical technician on rotating shift and OT.... I once drove a guy work in Benedict Dickson in tuas, also a medical product company, he is only a senior technician making syringes, pay $8k, former he was a van driver only, then at 29yo, went in BD and do partime poly, graduated and flew to florida USA to train further, now just a sr technician, 41years old, live in summerdale condo

  PHVs are supposed to compliment other forms of public transport. Just like how taxis compliment the buses and trains. When it's too crowded in buses or trains you pay a premium to get to where you want by hiring a cab. If PHVs are what taxis are to the mass transport then it should cost more not less. This doesn't make sense. Maybe my theory is wrong.

  Taxis and PHVs are essentially the same products, priced differently to enhance customer experience.  PHVs complement buses and trains, not taxis.

  PHV is just a Privately Hired Vehicle, not the driver, not Uber or grab, please get it clear first, UG is only a tech apps companies same as candy crush saga game etc etc, assetless other than it software and some young punks. Cars rental companies like LCR, dreamworld, etc etc are just rental companies that went on a contract with these tech apps companies to provide a more effective and efficient services. Just like you call prostitute in geyland, the pros is uber, but the rooms do not belong to the pros, it is like LCR, you need a room to fark..Uberians need a car to ply. If one day Singapore govt decided to ban Uber or Uber go bust.. its just pack itself into a suit case and go, apps no more able to function, that is all. What you rent out the car is your problem. So base on private context, please dun go mix up private with public. Uber and Grab is Private public transport Bus and taxi are Public transport, get this clear first, otherwise, you go court, limpek tio fark by judge.

  Still going strong. Reaching to almost a year now. Incentives now require more trips to hit but payout still acceptable. 

   

  Maybe next week when JustGrab launches can feel abit more pain. But that's competition. Same scenario when Uber came out to compete with taxi.

  Not only chase incentive. I heard uber driver havent get their payout last week yet. Delay dont know till when. Need to chase payout too. Hopefully no need to go uber hq n bang table.

  Last time during Friday and Saturday nights you want to find taxis also don't have. Now they are everywhere, even queuing on weekend nights. The time is over. Finally.
