Must be new drivers.....did you offer them tips on where and how to find customers or not?
Heard from one of my ex-hirers his friend who lived in Redhill area who started off off immediately as a OMO guy also quit taxi driving. He said he was not sure of the routes and had to drive back to Redhill to be able to drive customers to other places but it is difficult to find customers in Redhill area (we old bird knows can get customers at Ikea).
Maybe your 2 reliefs had the same problems.

Less than 1 day because Comfort's 1 day rental already exceeds this amount.
However if no rental liability, can last more than 1 month (if I eat mostly at home) since real expenditure are only mobile phone and internet charges.

i have a driving friend also, always like to head back hougang or ang mo kio after dropping pax in cbd in the morning as he do not know where to get next pax in town, lol
he hates to deal with ang mo as he's a chinese educated person

We all have this problem initially when we started out.... I used to drive all the way to Clementi to get customers after dropping them off in CBD.
Let him know that Orchard area got calls to take (but he may have to stop the taxi one side to check the map as most people are not familiar with the condos there).

Finally decided to return taxi n be either relief or super relief
Got afew days of outstanding rentals to pay N need to touch up some dents on cab
Maybe next week go give notice (7 days) then can say bye bye liao
Received afew calls
Some say will call bk
Some say too far
Some say after cny then can start
Some say only can drive 3 days
Buay tahan la lol
Now then realised the power of being a relief

I don't think I can adapt to new environment like join company wrk 8-5 jobs blah blah
My frn suggested me to go take security course n be security guard also
Age also catch up liao financially iam still k bcoz wife is still wrking
no need to pressure myself alot
My bank loan to buy hse also approve liao next week agent will start to advertise my current hse to sell
Then buy resale hse n relax for awhile
If everything goes well I'll hv some extra cash fm the sale of the hse for my backup n saving for raining days
I think driving line is better choice no need stay indoors all the time
Be relief drive 3-5 days a week is my plan or go put deposit be super relief for all the companies
Been thinking a lot lately
Today also someone sms to enquire abt relief blah blah
I never even bothered to reply really sian liao
All damm choosey till I no mood to entertain lol
As a hirer NOW iam feeling my taxi has become a "burden" to me
Covering the extra cost without a relief is really stressing me n eatting up alot of my time
really respect those omo bros who can tong all the way

no relief driver up to your expectations?
usually i know, relief, 8 out of 10, not steady kind. just need $ they drive. don't drive, don't pay 1/2 rental, just return key.
omo is ok, just that u need longer hours to make up the extra cost, its worst feeling when u are not feeling well or when business is slow.
