not money only, then dont charge gst for booking call. $0.30 also charge GST, somemore round up.
Customers and taxi drivers not so calculative one..... if $4.95, no customer would ask for 5 cent back. If $4.05, taxi drivers would only ask for $4. Even taxi course also don't suggest us to stock up 5-cent coins.
If got so niao customers want to ask for 5-cent back, I would give them 10-cent back.
Even some Phillippino maids would not care about 50 cents difference and often round up to the dollar.

this is not calculative. If this the rule. the same apply like pax say where other taxi can stop at bus stop and do illegal U turn, why u cannot.
Driving to basement car park and back for free is not about 5 cent.
It is the rule that is the basis for everything, the same apply to the GST collection on the booking fee (7% on $0.30) Why not u tell the govenment not to be calculative?

Anyway just telling you most taxi drivers not so calculative.... I personally have taken quite a number of taxis too, and they are mostly not so calculative ones.....and I don't think they spoiled the market. We are not playing like the stock market whereby 5-cent is $50.

I know you would not provide that 11-22 cents for free ....but I would and I don't think that taxi driver spoiled the market. I would provide that 200 metres for free too if I was caught in the same shoes and I would not claim customer would want to cheat money for that 200 metres.

your message sound the same like. other taxi can stop at bus stop and do illegal U turn, why u cannot. other ppl can, why u cannot. My point here is the basis is the rule not what other ppl do. What you do is not necessary be view as correct but however ppl tink it should be correct which is totally wrong.

I only said he is not spoiling the market and as self-employed, we do what we like without interference from others. I did not say you are wrong or insist on people saying I am correct...... so don't misunderstand.
$0.05 to $0.22 .... no big deal since it is not 1000 times like in stock market or 5 to 22 percent. Would not spend more time debating with you over 5 cents to 22 cents.

Yalor, give and take lah, sometime good pax give $50 and said, keep the change for a $20 fares leh. If I got tips, I usually give discount to oldies/handicap paxs by lowering to the nearest lower fare. This is call ploughing from the able and rich, then give it to the poorer and weak, so, people who know me well use to call me Uncle Rohin Hood TD.... but of course some oldies seibei stubborn and unreasonable one.. also like to talk big...so no discount for them.

Aiya, we drive Singapore taxi, never hope for tip one lah, if give...of cos the more the merrier, and with luck, sometimes or once a while can get those kind of tip lah, you think everyday meh, if everyday...limpek go la kopi liao,,drive until so tired for what? -

If you insist on Standard, then use the standard lor, u can hv ISO, API, or whatever standard you need, but make sure you also need to be steady and flexible. Otherwise, keep following standard can be boring and stressful -
Generally, human relationship works best work on the laws of reflection, if pax is good, naturally TD will be good in return, maybe a bit diverged, but still within the frameword of good. And in Singapore, most 80% paxs are ok and some are real good. However, in return, TD can be good, but pax are not good, or so called the 20% fark type one, laws of reflection stated that when light travelled from one medium to another type of medium, it changes course, the reflection will not be clear and way out of course. So for these type of pax, of course, you no give and take lah, just keep quiet and follow standard operating procedure tightly.

My answer if this is meter stop, trip end. this is the standard rules and should be the basis.
Your reply is give and take. this answer is neither here or there because it is upto individual not the standard practice. it is like some pax say why other taxi can stop at bus stop, do illegal U-turn but you cannot. clearly, many give n take make pax tink that it become the standard practice.

If you ask any politician, the like of PAP, even a minister will not give you a direct answer, the most they will said, let us move forward and see what we can do. If you said you are a broker or an accountant/banker, of course figures cannot give and take, so they hv to check everything, audit these and that to make sure that everything is tally, balanced and factual. Even if needed to massage the figure, also hv to make it look perfect and digestable, of course, like this will not hv the flexibility of give and take, and that is why you see in town, 10-12midnite still got auditor, Financial pples struggling with their work, stress and pressure build up on their reports. And the reward is that they are much highly paid than most of us, because they need the knowledge, the thinking hat and more importantly, cannot give and take, cannot agar agar, cannot be flexible, which added stress to them, because seeking perfection is a stress. And this is only one industrial I quoted. But if you apply that into a TD who earn abt 3 to 4k per month (I only $900), why need to be so rigid in life, we are not paid that high to be perfect. Furthermore, driving already took up much of our physical stress...go give and take might help to release some of those stress and at the same time, relax and smile

So is it you stop outside their condo, lets say it is $15 you stop the meter, then let them make $15 cashless payment (nets...).
Then you drive them to basement car park without collecting any more fare?
When you drive them from outside condo to the basement car park, taxi top light is put to what? Busy?

Not sure if you all kana this before. Once I went into Golden Agri Plaza at 108 Pasir Panjang Road. Not to drop pax hor. I drove my car there. That carpark is one way only, so must make one circle around the back of the building and exit. I lazy mah because no car at all. I park my car on the left side of the building, and exit from the left side lor. Then reach the gate, the Indian security asked me wind down window. He smile and ask why never follow direction. I say "Cannot ah?" Kek Ling guard say "Like that hor... I report you" knn until today still never receive summon. As far as I know, inside the building compound, is none of TP or LTA business. Not sure how they want to summon me for going against traffic. Like that if can summon, then places like Raffles Hotel drop off point, if I go anticlockwise will kana summon liao lor.

Cb pillar also whacked with many color, from cdg blue to TC red to SMRT maroon...silver also have, abit hard to see only. So, getntlemen, becareful condo lobby hor. I spent more than 10 years working with angmos, ah tiong and kek leng from around the world. I will never want to be an employee ever again. Not used to reporting to work at 8 or 9am and worry about boss face and future prospects. If old man like u go back to work, surely must be director or management level.
